Craps are very difficult for the great difference that there exists between the bets of the banking and us. And thus can be applied even to diverse bets in the same result. In both cases, you are betting that 8 will come out before the 7, but the margin of the house in the “8 big ones” is of about 10 %, whereas the margin of the house in the “bet place” it is of 1 %.
The key to a good strategy in craps is in knowing what bets have a small margin for the house and to beat them.
For those who are learning the game, the following bets are easy to deal and have a margin of the house of about 1,5 %.
- The pass line
- Don't pass
- Come
- Field
- The place bets on 6 or 8 only, other local bets have higher margin.
As soon as you familiarize yourself with the bets of the line of step, try to go moving towards the bets of the probabilities - these are the big thin margins of the house (around 0,5 %) and they can be opposing.
Remain far from other bets, specially “Big 6 ” and “big 8”. Leave these bets for those who do not know what they are doing!
